We often think that life is hard and that it’s filled with many problems. But that’s not true. Most people have few problems that keep coming back, giving the illusion that it’s never ending. 

We are creatures of patterns! 

Have you noticed that it’s the same emotions that keep bringing you down; the same hurtful thoughts that harass you; similar experiences keep repeating themselves?

Most, if not all, of your life’s problems come primarily from two sources: 

1- Trauma – either a marking event, or a repeated psychological fracture, gets locked into your nervous system and reactivates later in life under specific conditions, resulting in a whole lot of tension and stress, making you react and feeling like you’re not in control of yourself, nor your life. 

2- Self-Opposing Mind Patterns (SOMPs) – conditioned self-opposing patterns of thought that go against your natural self – the issue being that we hear these so often in our own mind that we falsely believe it’s who we are – which actually prevents us from revealing our TrueSelf.

Life always mirrors your beliefs, perceptions, choices and reactions. So… 

To change your outer world experience, 

you must first align with who you are; that is, 

you must match how you think and feel with your TrueSelf.

What is TSP®?

TrueSelf Psychology® is an innovative thought-modification program designed to help you become more aware of how you think – known as the Observer Effect, so you can consciously direct your thoughts by aligning them with who you really are… your ‘TrueSelf’.

In this program, you will learn that you are a thinker, and how to think – how to remove negative thinking so that you are more free to think healthier self-supportive thoughts.

TSP® is a systematic, structured, and progressive approach that melds some of the best theories from different therapy styles into a unique program that makes realigning with your TrueSelf occur more naturally – these include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) –  Learn how to recognize your negative thought patterns; gain an understanding of how these thoughts affect your choices and the actions you take; and how to redirect them to thoughts that feel better.

Psychodynamic Therapy – In psychology, what starts a problem and what maintains it, is not the same thing. You can release the emotional attachment to past trauma pains from your subconscious mind. The best way to move on is to let go. 

Neuroscience – Learn how your mind works and how it impacts your behavior.  The more you understand how neural pathways are created, the more you can rewire them to create healthier neural pathways. 

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) –  You do not have to continue thinking as you’ve been conditioned. Learn reconditioning techniques to help you script new healthy mind patterns that align with your TrueSelf, and practice them until they become your natural way of thinking. 

Solution-Oriented Therapy – You get what you think about. Research shows that we tend to think more about our problems than about the solutions, and that’s what keeps us often stuck in the problem. Train your mind to focus on solutions to achieve what you want, and move your attention away from what you don’t. 

Mindfulness Learn to be more self-aware, and to focus on the here and now, where all the abilities to control your thoughts reside.

Conscious Hypnosis – Controlling your thoughts in the now and practicing choosing better-feeling thoughts with repetition help to condition them into your subconscious mind. 

Guided Meditation – Learn how you can influence your subconscious mind with your own Scripts. 

TSP® can also incorporate psychoeducational themes, drawing from many branches of wisdom-based practices and principles. In this, we will discuss important life skills to keeping your alignment, such as:

  • How to choose better feeling thoughts so you can make better choices and take actions more favorable towards what you want.
  • How compassion, understanding, and empathy are guiding principles to feeling good within yourself and building healthy relationships. 
  • How detachment from what you cannot control helps you remain more in self-control. 
  • How letting go allows space for what you want to come in. 
  • Understanding the purpose and value of self-care, and how it’s the least selfish thing you can do. 
  • How personal responsibility is key to self-mastery and more being consciously aware.

How does TSP® work?

There are two voices inside your head, not just one. And when these two get along you achieve harmony within; and when they don’t, that’s the internal struggle you experience as anxiety, depression, low self-worth, tension, loneliness…. It just doesn’t feel good when you are in a conflict with yourself. 

Positive emotions occur when your two voices align to connect harmoniously, creating the feeling of serenity, certainty, and inner strength. This is when you are most powerful – when your mind is aligned with your core being. It brings out the best of you as you experience clarity and move about the world with inner calm. There is no longer an internal struggle making you doubt yourself and slowing you down. Aligned, you can make healthier decisions and choices that are always beneficial to your pursuit of happiness.

TSP® is a working-through approach designed to help you attain personal alignment within a short time frame – typically 6-9 sessions. It is an individualized approach that works quickly to identify which self-opposing mind patterns and belief systems are causing your life challenges so we can work with the root causes of hurtful and self-opposing emotions.

TSP® offers pragmatic and workable solutions to help resolve these negative mind patterns in a two-step process:

  • first by releasing old wounds, negative patterns and beliefs
  • then, by building new conscious patterns and empowering beliefs to support a healthier, more centered ‘you’ 

….so you can live a life of choice, align with who you truly are, rather than respond in automatic reaction mode from trigger pains and negative thought patterns.
